Dr. Dietz currently leads a team of 19 cancer epidemiologists covering all major tumor types across early and late development. She previously was the Therapeutic Area Head of the Oncology team with eight reports covering GI, thoracic, head and neck, prostate cancers and melanoma. While in the role of Director of the Oncology team, she led a team of three reports. During her tenure at Merck, Dr. Dietz has received the Excel Award for Epi methods course planning for statisticians, the Impact Award for Leadership and Support of Keytruda ODAC preparations, as well as the Excel Award for outstanding leadership on the EXPRESS study and the Excellence Award for successful execution of FDA requested post-authorization safety study.
