CCEB innovative centers and research programs bring together diverse research groups to address an unmet need, accomplish a shared goal, and make Penn a leader in that area. In funding these new collaborations, the goal is to bring in new externally funded center grants over the next 5 years. A call for applications for center seed grants is issued annually in the spring. Teams within the CCEB and external to the CCEB are encouraged to work together to create a concept and build relationships and multidisciplinary expertise.
