Emily Baumrin, MD, MSCE

Assistant Professor of Dermatology and Medicine

Dr. Emily Baumrin's research program is focused on immunologic dermatology complications after cell therapy and transplantation, including GVHD. The goal of her research program is to improve outcomes of these life-saving interventions by advancing methods in dermatologic disease diagnosis, measurement, and precision medicine. Her recent work has focused on 1) development of valid and reliable outcome measures for chronic GVHD clinical trials, 2) study of patient-centered navigation programs to improve screening guidelines for chronic GVHD, and 3) skin tissue biomarker identification in chronic GVHD. Dr. Baumrin is Director of the GVHD Subspecialty Clinic in the Department of Dermatology.
