Jesse Yenchih Hsu, PhD
Dr. Hsu’s statistical research projects focus on statistical methods in observational studies and causal inference. He is specifically interested in areas of survival analysis, longitudinal data analysis, inverse probability treatment weighting, and potential (counterfactual) outcomes approach in causal inference. He has a general interest in statistical applications to public health, epidemiology and health policy research. Dr. Hsu is involved in several collaborative research projects in renal diseases established by the National Institute of Diabetes, Digestive, and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK).
Dr. Hsu joined the University of Pennsylvania in 2014. He is also affiliated with the Leonard Davis Institute of Health Economics (LDI).
