Dr. Chung is currently Assistant Professor of Medicine on the tenure track. Her research has focused on (1) Pharmacoepidemiology, in the area of drug safety, (2) Clinical research, in the area of cardiovascular disease in patients with rheumatic conditions, and (3) Pharmacogenetics.Specific projects include:1. CYP3A mediated serious drug interactions in Rheumatology2. Safety of long-acting opioids in adult patients with non-cancer pain3. Opioid Toxicity in Children4. Atherosclerosis in patients with SLE and RA 5. Genetic determinants of response to immune suppressants
