Braunstein, PhD MPHAssistant Commissioner | Bureau of Hepatitis, HIV, and STI (BHHS) New York City Department of Health and Mental HygieneDr. Braunstein is the Director of HIV Epidemiology and Field Services Program at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (DOHMH), and has extensive background and training in epidemiologic methods and research. Dr. Braunstein oversees the collection, management, analysis and dissemination of data from NYC's HIV Surveillance registry; provision of HIV partner services, linkage to care and care reengagement for persons with diagnosed HIV; and CDC-sponsored and other HIV clinical, behavioral and health disparities research. She is also a content expert in NYC surveillance and epidemiologic data, and also in the HIV care cascade, and thus well-suited to provide technical expertise on the use of surveillance data for measuring outcomes Long Island City, New York 11101
